Take the Pottery Showdown

The stars from the BBC hit series, Matt, Tom, Jim and Jane* will be joining us at this year's Made by Hand to take on the general public at our very own Pottery Showdown!
Internationally respected potter Kevin Millward is guest judge and challenge setter for the Showdown, which is presented in association with Potclays and Cardiff School of Art. During the Showdown, daily challenges will be set to test visitors’ skills on the potters’ wheels. Compere Billy Adams will be overseeing the challenge where you could find yourself going head-to-head in some messy fun.
The Pottery Showdown is FREE and anyone who purchases a ticket to Made by Hand can take part. You just need to book your space.
*Sally-Jo will be attending Made by Hand on Saturday October 29th but Jane Williams, semi-finalist from the Pottery Throwdown will be joining us as Sally is too pregnant to take part! Welcome Jane and Congratulations Sally-Jo.
