Made by Hand, in association with The Contemporary Craft Fair, Bovey Tracey is a brand new design,craft and food event at Tredegar House, Newport, South Wales. It aims to be the finest event of its kind in Wales and the West.

In partnership with Newport City Council and supported by Arts Council of Wales, Made by Hand will be set in the stunning mansion house, grounds and buildings of Tredegar House, ideally located on junction 28 of the M4,  a short drive between Cardiff and Bristol.

Made by Hand will be setting the standard to be the highest quality craft and design event in Wales plus the added bonus of a fine food and drink fair.

•  Made by Hand is a wonderful opportunity to meet and buy directly from 135 of Wales and the West’s finest designer makers and 40 fine food companies in a very festive and historical setting.
• Visitors will be able to wonder the main mansion house, stable blocks, the Orangery and formal gardens of the Renaissance Mansion and buy gifts and Christmas fare that will be unique, top quality and simply the best!
• Set to be become one of the most memorable events in the Wales’ events calendar, visitors can also watch craftspeople demonstrating their skills and also take part in inspiring workshops for all ages and visitors can go home with hand crafted items of their very own-just in time for Christmas!

• The event is organised by the team headed by Sarah James from the exceptional Contemporary Craft Fair at Bovey Tracey.
• Made by Hand is Selected by an independent panel of judges.
• Made by Hand is open to designer makers and fine food companies resident in Britain and Ireland working to the highest standard in ceramics, glass, textiles, jewellery, metal, wood, plastics, mix media, leather, recycled materials and paper and food production. No paintings, photography or musical instruments.
